SCRIPTURES OF HOPE

I believe in the power of prayer! I believe in reading the Bible daily for guidance from our Heavenly Father!  I believe there is a Bible verse for every circumstance in our lives...no matter how small or big the "challenge" in our lives! The Bible is wisdom...seek it. Dig in it. Soak it up. Live by it. Walk it out.

There is just one huge problem for the majority of us...
When we go through "challenging" situations in our everyday lives, we either run to God because we haven't been seeking Him daily and are asking for help, or we run away from God.  Running away from God is us trying to control the situation whether we mean to or not.  It's us thinking, "I will figure it out. I got this."  ...
When Zack was diagnosed with cancer, we were both seeking God and trying to live as we should...demonstrating the life of a Christian.  This trial only made us grow stronger and closer to each other, as well as God.  But...there were times that I would just get so upset...Not mad at God, just upset with the life we had been dealt, due to cancer.  It was not fair. ...

It's in those moments that I would just hit my knees to pray.  There is nothing we could do to change the situation.  All we could do was seek God to heal Zack and help us get through each day!  To seek God's will for us both!   The Bible verses I am sharing with you, are the ones I kept on notecards all through out our apartment.  It was a steady reminder to pray...pray...pray...and pray some more.
The scriptures I prayed over Zack were scriptures of healing...to heal Zack of cancer.
Scriptures of hope...to give Zack hope in a future, hope to cure cancer, hope to be healed.
Scriptures of faith...to give Zack strength to believe in faith...an unbelievable amount of Faith to just trust God and leave his health in the hands of our ultimate healer.  These scriptures are what got us through our "challenge"!

I pray you will use these scriptures, God's promises, to pray for someone that needs healing.  If you know someone that is in need of healing, I pray you will give them theses verses on note cards with their name placed in the verse.
